Wizkid Submits Morayo and Key Tracks for 2026 GRAMMY Consideration
Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has officially submitted his latest body of work, Morayo, and several standout tracks for the 2026 GRAMMY Awards. The submissions highlight Wizkid’s ambition and confidence in a project that has already been praised for its artistry, versatility, and global sound.
The album Morayo is submitted for Album of the Year and Best Global Album, positioning it among the most prestigious categories of the awards. The standout single Piece of My Heart  — a fan favorite and emotional centerpiece of the album — is being considered for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best African Music Performance, underscoring its impact both musically and culturally.
Other submissions include Billionaires Club and Gimme Dat, both in contention for Best African Music Performance, showcasing Wizkid’s strength across different Afrobeats subgenres. Meanwhile, Kese (Dance) is up for Best Music Video, a nod to Wizkid’s visual creativity and flair for storytelling through performance.
