“I’m not happy” – Trump fumes as Israel, Iran violate ceasefire deal

U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed frustration with both Israel and Iran, accusing them of violating the ceasefire agreement he announced just hours earlier.

Speaking to ABC News on Tuesday morning before boarding Air Force One, Trump said neither side has adhered to the terms of the truce, which was intended to halt hostilities following nearly two weeks of escalating violence.

“Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and dropped a boatload of bombs, the likes of which I’ve never seen before,”Trump said. “The biggest load we’ve seen — I’m not happy with Israel.”

The president criticized the timing of Israel’s military response, suggesting it undermined the spirit of the ceasefire.

“When I say now you have 12 hours, you don’t go out in the first hour and drop everything you have on them,” he added. “So, I’m not happy with them. I’m not happy with Iran either.”

The comments come amid reports that Israel launched fresh airstrikes shortly after the ceasefire was announced, while Israel claims Iran fired additional missiles toward its territory — allegations Tehran denies.

Trump downplayed the Iranian recent missile incident, suggesting it may have been accidental, but reiterated his disappointment in both nations.

“I’m unhappy if Israel is going out this morning because of one rocket that didn’t land, that was shot perhaps by mistake, but didn’t land,” he stated.

The president voiced concern over the ongoing hostility between the two long-time rivals.

“We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard, they don’t know what the f* they’re doing,” Trump said bluntly.

Despite his frustration, Trump expressed hope that peace efforts would continue.

When asked whether he believed Iran remained committed to the ceasefire, he replied, “I do.”

The ceasefire agreement, announced late Monday, was intended to pause fighting after 12 days of missile exchanges, airstrikes, and growing international alarm over the risk of broader regional war.
