Cubana Chief Priest opens up on absence at Davido’s white wedding

Socialite and entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest has revealed why he was absent from his best friend Davido’s wedding, amidst rumours of a rift between them.

In an emotional Instagram post, he said he woke up with “mixed feelings”, happy for the couple but saddened by his inability to attend.

He explained that he was unable to secure a US visa in time for the ceremony in Miami, appealing directly to the Nigerian government and the US embassy in Nigeria for assistance.

Despite missing the celebration, Cubana Chief Priest congratulated Davido and his wife Chioma, noting that his wife and family attended in his place.

In a lenghty post, the nightlife socialite wrote:

“Woke Up This Morning With Mixed Feelings, I’m Happy And I’m Still Sad At The Same Time. Sometimes God Has A Way Of Making You Understand That You Are Powerless Regardless Of All You May Think You Have.
