Davido and Nollywood actress trade words in heated online clash

Nigerian music star Davido has fired back at Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu after she weighed in on his ongoing dispute with media personality Destiny Ezeyim, popularly known as Radiogad.

The controversy began when Radiogad publicly shared threatening messages allegedly sent by Davido in response to critical posts about him. In the leaked conversation, Davido expressed frustration over Radiogad’s remarks, warning him never to mention his name again. The singer even swore on his late mother’s life while making his threats.

Amid the heated exchange, Esther Nwachukwu entered the discussion, calling out Davido for his actions. The actress compared him to his longtime industry rival Wizkid, noting that celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut frequently trolls Wizkid without any retaliation. She argued that, as a public figure, Davido should be open to criticism from social commentators like Radiogad.

Davido, upon seeing Esther’s post, did not hold back. Davido responded with a direct jab at the Nollywood actress, insinuating that she had body odor. His comment read: “I can smell you from here, ur papa.”

Instead of feeling offended, Esther embraced the interaction, proudly sharing a screenshot of Davido’s remark. She boasted that it was an achievement for the superstar to notice her, claiming that her status had now changed.

“No one should talk to me anyhow, I am not your mate,” she declared. “Davido commented on my page and said he could smell me. It’s not easy for Davido to notice anyone, but he noticed me. So, put some respect on my name.”

Surprisingly, despite the insult, Esther revealed that she had become a Davido fan. While she previously supported only Wizkid and Naira Marley, she announced that she had now added Davido to her list of favorites.

“I am proudly Wizkid FC, but I have now joined Davido’s fan base too. I won’t insult Davido again—I love OBO now,” she concluded.
